One Schedule Now Serves Every Screen

Linear, FAST, streaming apps and connected TV all draw on the same programming. Every destination added by hand is another set of repeated steps: allocate a source, start an ingest, record the live window, finalize the asset, confirm it landed. The schedule already knows what should happen and when. Historically, the streaming platform has had no way to know it exists.

Nexus closes that gap. Scheduling decisions made in BroadView Programming and the rules enforced in BroadView Traffic are carried through to the streaming platform as operational instructions, and delivery status is returned to the schedule operators already work in.

Workflow

Each scheduled event carries everything the streaming side needs to act:

SOURCE The event carries its source — RTP/IP or otherwise — so the correct feed is allocated without an operator hunting for it.
TIMING Start and end times come from the schedule of record, including live windows that move.
