From our earliest days of writing customized solutions for the Pay-per-view industry, our products bear the hallmarks of customer suggestions, feedback and critical review. Many of our staff, coming to us from the broadcast industry, have put their fingerprints on the product, making software they would have wanted to use. We call it our Golden Rule; putting ourselves in our clients’ shoes.
BroadView Software started as a management solution for pay-per-view systems in the 1990s, a precursor to today’s burgeoning OnDemand market. As media companies transitioned from proprietary systems to “open” IT-based solutions, BroadView pioneered the unified database architecture, a marked difference in approach to traditional systems that continue to “interface” their functional areas. Our seamless integration makes it possible to achieve enormous efficiency gains through workflow innovation.
BroadView sets an industry standard, building software with two key ideals in mind: making the complexity of broadcast easy to manage and, building for the future needs of our clients.
BroadView’s eighth generation technology continues to lead the way. Since early 2020 we have helped our clients effectively transition their staff to a work-from-home world. Our hosted software allows multi-national broadcasters to manage their operations seamlessly from different time zones as the media world continues to globalize. BroadView OnDemand, now entering its third generation, continues to support the move towards non-linear broadcasting, a future we’ve been helping to create for more than 10 years.
